I have included this post from my ‘other’ Blog because it is about the GIMP so it kinda belongs here:
I blogged yesturday that I was trying out the GIMP, being too much of a cheepskate to fork out on CS4. well last night I ran into my first problem; I wanted to do a simple layer mask, somthing simple in photoshop, but unachivable for me with GIMP(no I have yet to look up how on the online manual–but last night my connection was busy).
this morning I had my second problem–and I have a feeling this one is going to drive me nuts!. Scanning in GIMP. Like many open source applications GIMP has its issues and scanning seems to be one, im learning about SANE, but I (and I know many others out there also) would like out of the box support for any of my USB multi-function printers.
I have a feeling this is going to be a long battle with the GIMP
Since this is art and PHOTOGRAPHY, and not ART-PHOTOGRAPHY im going to include a post of pics about my old datto i was restoring. there is a story behind this car–I tried to tell that story on Pulsar Group of Australia’s website, but they banned me.
anyway, here is my ols n10 coupe
the Back end after de-badging and cutting all the rust out
dont need to explain this
after the motor re-build
after i ripped out the interior
now i never had a chance to finish this project. I was arrested shortly after and found myself homeless and the car was destroyed. i wrote about it in a diffrent blog but thats not a story for here
what if microsoft made everything… well I had my PSP on my mind today.
EDIT: I finally got it back from where I left it, now I got to get some new games!
words of wisdom to never forget. Its amazing the lesons you learn from the people you learn them from.
When I was in rehab this guy taught me alot about self
…but Im not against those that feel they need a bit of a hand–really if your stuck on a level then yoour not going to experience the whole game, so If you feel you need tocheat–in whatever form it may be then, so be it.
that said, I found this site that has save games for the PS3, they also have some other more interesting downloads if your feeling a bit more adventurous.
check out there download section to see what they have to offer.
